Get to Know Shanty

Hey there! I'm Shanty—owner, therapist, and wellness educator. With almost 15 years of experience, I've been helping people like you make meaningful changes in their lives. I believe we all need someone in our corner during life's tough moments, and that's where therapy comes in. In my office, it's all about honoring your voice and experiences. Together, we can explore your thoughts, feelings, and challenges, gain insights, heal from old wounds, develop coping strategies to navigate life's complexities, and build intentional responsiveness to help foster healthier habits and empower you to achieve a greater sense of peace, purpose, and well-being.
I've worked in various roles since grad school, from counseling survivors of domestic violence to supporting at-risk families, and tutoring refugees. For over a decade, I was immersed in substance use and mental health programs and was even a clinical supervisor for 5 years, helping both clients and professionals alike, grow and find their way. Now, in solo private practice since 2022, I'm excited to continue this journey with you. Let's work together to create a life you're truly excited about!
